ISLAMABAD – The Auditor General of Pakistan has yesterday terminated the services of Farrukh Abbas Malik, Director General Audit (Defense), Rawalpindi.

According a spokesman of the Auditor General, the Auditor General of Pakistan Rana Assad Amin, in exercise of powers conferred upon him by the Government had dismissed Farrukh Abbas Malik, an officer of Pakistan Audit & Accounts from service, presently posted as Director General Audit (Defence), Rawalpindi,. The officer was found guilty of the charge of “misconduct”, he said.

Muhammad Azhar, a BS-20 officer, has been posted as Director General Audit (Defence), in his place.
