KARACHI: The country’s total liquid foreign reserves slipped to $22.59 billion during the week ending on Aug 5, 2016 from $22.98 the preceding week, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced on Thursday.

Of the total reserves the SBP held $17.66bn and $4.93bn by the commercial banks.

The central bank pointed out that during the week its liquid reserves decreased by $397 million compared to $18.06bn in the previous week.
