KARACHI:- The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at $23,418.0 million on September 23. Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan stood at $18,395.1 million while net foreign reserves held by commercial banks stood at $5,022.9 million.

During the week ending 23rd September, SBP’s liquid FX reserves increased by $738 million to $18,395 million, compared to $17,657 million in the previous week. The increase in reserves is mainly attributed to GOP inflow of $700 million from China Development Bank.–
